Day 1 - Jaipur Arrival and Sightseeing In Jaipur
On arrival at Jaipur airport /rail station, you'll be met and chauffeured to the hotel. Today we'll tour Royal Gaitor Tumbas-The stone monuments are beautifully and intricately carved. has the most impressive marble cenotaph, with a dome supported by 20 carved pillars, and then admire an 18th-century ancient monkey temple squeezed between cliffs in a rocky valley, It is also known as the Galtaji or Monkey Temple as you will find hundreds of monkeys living here. It houses some very run-down temples and three water tanks. lots of shaped roofs, balconies, and arches. One can imagine how beautiful this place was in its prime.
Later, we'll drive to Nahargarh Fort- Located on the rocky ridge when the dusk arrives and the entire Jaipur city gets lit up, Nahargarh Fort offers the most sparkling view of the entire city. Witness a stunning sunset view with a bird's eye view of Jaipur city. ( visit to Nahargarh fort is subject to time available depending on your arrival and sunset view is subject to favorable weather conditions ).
Day 2 - Full Day Private Sightseeing in Jaipur
This morning embark on a tour to visit the spectacular Amber Fort which was founded in the 11th century. It’s beautifully constructed from yellow and pink sandstone and gleaming white marble. Entering through the Sun Gate, your privately guided tour reveals lavish courtyards, decorated halls and the dazzling Chamber of Mirrors. Spend some time at Panna Meena stepwell- According to the local residents, it’s impossible for a person to use the same stairs to get down and go back up. We’ll then pull over at Water Palace which sits in the middle of the lake! The ancient palace that was previously used for duck-hunting is currently off-limits to the public, but it definitely makes for a postcard-perfect photo.
Back in the city, you’ll see Hawa Mahal. Also known as the Palace of Winds, its delicately latticed windows allowed women of royal families to remain concealed as they observed the hustle and bustle of the street below. Then tour the City Palace Museum to see its carefully curated collection of miniature paintings, ancient weapons, and royal Rajasthani costumes. At Jantar Mantar, you’ll marvel at a collection of large stone instruments that were made in 1726 to measure time, predict eclipses, and track the movements of the stars and planets. Enjoy a walking tour of the old Jaipur city including a tuk-tuk ride and of course, in between all these, a glass of delicious lassi at famed Lassiwala. Jaipur is famed for the skill of its artists, jewelers and weavers. Your tour guide will walks you through Jaipur’s lively markets.
