Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to the hotel.

Day 2- Discover Old & New Delhi

Your comprehensive privately guided sightseeing tour explores the best of Old and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Explore the bustling Chandni Chowk market and drive past the imposing walls of the magnificent Red Fort. Enjoy a traditional pedicab ride in Old Delhi. Drive along the elegant Rajpath and past the imposing India Gate- built in memory of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War, and Parliament House and on to visit Humayun’s Tomb - the last resting place of an esteemed 16th-century Mughal emperor and an architectural precursor of the Taj Mahal. At the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qutab Minar, you’ll discover the tallest brick minaret in the world, a graceful fluted tower built in the 14th century.

Day 3- Agra + A Magical Sunset View

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic southward journey to Agra, the venerated 16th-century capital of the Lodhi Dynasty. On arrival, check in to the hotel and refresh before setting out for some guided sightseeing. Behind the impressive 1.5-mile long fortress walls of the Red Fort of Agra Fort, you’ll discover lovely grounds, mosques, audience halls, and fairytale palaces. Dating back to the 16th century and reflecting elements of both Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, this fort is more aptly described as a magnificent, walled palatial city.

As the sun dips towards the horizon, we’ll take you across the Yamuna River to Mehtab Bagh. Most visitors don’t know to come here, but this lovely Mughal garden located on the river banks across from the Taj Mahal offers some of the most captivating views of the iconic monument – especially in the golden light of sunset.

Day 4- Journey to Jaipur

Arise early this morning for a sunrise visit to the great Taj Mahal. The strikingly iridescent and translucent façade of the great Taj Mahal offers an enchanting experience in sharper light of early morning.

After a late mid-morning breakfast, check out and embark on the scenic drive into Rajasthan, one of India’s most historic and culturally rich states. We'll call at the perfectly-preserved, red sandstone ‘ghost town’ of Fatehpur Sikri. Built in the 16th century, the ‘ruins’ of this abandoned city are still in pristine condition, making it easy to imagine the opulence of long-ago court life.

Continue to Jaipur and check in to the hotel.

Day 5- Jaipur Full Day Guided Tour / Return to Delhi

The spectacular Amber Fort was founded in the 11th century. It’s beautifully constructed from yellow and pink sandstone and gleaming white marble. Entering through the Sun Gate, your privately guided tour reveals lavish courtyards, decorated halls and the dazzling Chamber of Mirrors. It's worth taking 20 minutes out of your itinerary and checks out Panna Meena stepwell, right next to the Amber Fort. According to the local residents, it’s impossible for a person to use the same stairs to get down and go back up. We’ll then pull over at Water Palace which sits in the middle of the lake! The ancient palace that was previously used for duck-hunting is currently off-limits to the public, but it definitely makes for a postcard-perfect photo.

Back in the city, you’ll see Hawa Mahal. Also known as the Palace of Winds, its delicately latticed windows allowed women of royal families to remain concealed as they observed the hustle and bustle of the street below. Then tour the City Palace Museum to see its carefully curated collection of miniature paintings, ancient weapons, and royal Rajasthani costumes. At Jantar Mantar, you’ll marvel at a collection of large stone instruments that were made in 1726 to measure time, predict eclipses, and track the movements of the stars and planets. Take a walk through the old pink city and experience tuk-tuk ride, taste traditional sweets and most famed delicious Lassi. Later, we’ll drive you to Delhi airport for your onward flight.
