Unlike the common version, we're going to tour another way around to maximize your time and help you see and experience more good things. We understand if you still want to switch back to the common route ( Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Udaipur-Delhi).

Day 1 - Welcome to Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to the hotel.

Day 2 - Discover Old & New Delhi

Your comprehensive privately guided sightseeing tour explores the best of Old and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Explore the bustling Chandni Chowk market and drive past the imposing walls of the magnificent Red Fort. Enjoy a rickshaw tour through Old Delhi. Drive along the elegant Rajpath and past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House and on to visit Humayun’s Tomb - the last resting place of an esteemed 16th-century Mughal emperor and an architectural precursor of the Taj Mahal. At the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qutab Minar, you’ll discover the tallest brick minaret in the world, a graceful fluted tower built in the 14th century.

Day 3 - Delhi / Udaipur ( Flight)

Transfer at Delhi airport to board a morning flight to Udaipur. A favorite amongst travelers, Udaipur is viewed as one of the most romantic cities in the state of Rajasthan. On arrival in the city, you'll be met and escorted to the hotel. Later, try some chai ( tea) from a local vendor before we enjoy an exhilarating tuk-tuk ride through the city’s narrow streets, stopping to take in the most important sites. Replicate a scene from the ‘Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ as we stop at a lakeside restaurant for a drink - just as Evelyn and Madge do in the film.

This evening we drive out of the city to enjoy a beautiful sunset and panoramic views from the hill-top Monsoon Palace. This impressive site featured in the 1983 James Bond film ‘Octopussy’, starring Roger Moore.

Day 4 - Udaipur- India's City of Dreams

Udaipur has been called India’s “City of Dreams” and you’ll understand why as you explore the immense City Palace - set magnificently on a ridge overlooking Lake Pichola. With its courtyards and grand halls, all wonderfully ornamented with pillars, balconies, towers and cupolas, this architectural masterpiece was built over several dynasties, but the harmony of its design makes it one of the finest palaces in all of Rajasthan. Now a museum, the richly decorated Palace is famed for its superb collection of cultural treasures including Mogul paintings and carvings. Venturing into the heart of the city, you’ll enjoy a guided stroll through the bustling local market to Jagdish Temple. Built-in 1651 and decorated with towering tiers of bas relief carvings, this Hindu temple enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu and his vehicle, a mighty bird called Garuda.

Sahelion-ki-Bari garden. Later, embark on a private cruise to Jag Mandir, a marble palace on an island in Lake Pichola, to enjoy a scenic sundowner.

Day 5 - Udaipur / Jaipur

Today we have a long drive as we travel to the UNESCO-listed Pink City of Jaipur. The city earned its nickname when the Old City was painted pink by the Maharaja ( the King) to welcome the Prince of Wales (to Jaipur in 1876. On arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Late afternoon. we'll drive to Nahargarh Fort- Located on the rocky ridge of Aravalli Hills, during the night, when the entire Jaipur city gets lit up, Nahargarh Fort offers the most sparkling view of the entire city. Witness a stunning sunset view with a bird's eye view of Jaipur city. On your way back to the hotel, pull over at Water Palace- which sits in the middle of the Man Sagar lake! The ancient palace that was previously used for duck-hunting is currently off-limits to the public, but it definitely makes for a postcard-perfect photo. Walk along the edge of the Water Palace when the palace gets illuminated with thousands of floodlights reflecting on the waters of the lake, the sight really captivates your hearts and souls.

Day 6 - Jaipur Full Day Guided Tour

The spectacular Amber Fort was founded in the 11th century. It’s beautifully constructed from yellow and pink sandstone and gleaming white marble. Entering through the Sun Gate, your privately guided tour reveals lavish courtyards, decorated halls and the dazzling Chamber of Mirrors. A quick stop at Water Palace which sits in the middle of the lake! The ancient palace that was previously used for duck-hunting is currently off-limits to the public, but it definitely makes for a postcard-perfect photo.

Back in the city, you’ll see Hawa Mahal. Also known as the Palace of Winds, its delicately latticed windows allowed women of royal families to remain concealed as they observed the hustle and bustle of the street below. Then tour the City Palace Museum to see its carefully curated collection of miniature paintings, ancient weapons, and royal Rajasthani costumes. At Jantar Mantar, you’ll marvel at a collection of large stone instruments that were made in 1726 to measure time, predict eclipses, and track the movements of the stars and planets. Take a walk through the old pink city and experience tuk-tuk ride, taste traditional sweets and most famed delicious Lassi. The city is famed for its skilled artisans and you’ll find wonderful ateliers and shops specializing in textiles, metalwork, jewelry, wood carvings and the famous blue pottery of Jaipur.

Day 7 - Jaipur / Agra

This morning we'll admire an 18th-century ancient temple squeezed between cliffs in a rocky valley, It is also known as the Galtaji or Monkey Temple as you will find hundreds of monkeys living here. It houses some very run down temples and three water tanks. There is still water moving around in places and the design and shape of the variety of buildings - lots of shaped roofs, balconies, and arches. It's easy to imagine how beautiful this all would have been when in it's prime.

Later travel to Agra and call at the village of Abhaneri and admire the Chand Baori stepwell, which famously featured in the blockbuster film ‘Batman: The Dark Night Rises’. a 1,000-year-old step well. With the earliest such wells dating back to the 6th century and once found throughout Rajasthan here on the edge of the foreboding Thar Desert, these ancient wells were crucial for storing water during the extremely dry months that follow the torrential seasonal monsoons. With 3,500 steps and 13 levels that descend nearly 65 feet, Chand Baori is one of India’s deepest and most beautifully carved step-wells. On arrival in Agra, check in to the hotel.

Day 8 - Agra + The Great Taj Mahal / Delhi

You will rise early this morning to visit the great Taj Mahal at sunrise. The pink and purple hues of the early morning sky make a dramatic backdrop to the Taj Mahal, and the site is less crowded, making for a more peaceful experience of the majestic building. The first rays of sunlight glittering off the marble of the building are truly spellbinding. Then tour the mighty Agra Fort a stunning example of Indo-Persian design. The red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its incredible maze of walled courtyards, mosques and lavish private chambers reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Later, we’ll drive you to Delhi airport for your onward flight.
